With Building Sweeps in EmergencyOS, Safety Officers get a clear, real-time view of the evacuation process—zone by zone. Using the mobile app, teams can verify cleared areas, update statuses instantly, and ensure no one is left behind.
Step 1
Establish Building Zones
Log in to FacilityOS and navigate to the EmergencyOS module. Under the Building Sweep section, create and name zones corresponding to areas within your facility. Assign targeted sweep times to each zone to guide Safety Officers during evacuations.
Step 2
Initiate an Evacuation
In an emergency, open the EmergencyOS portal and select "Start Evacuation." Choose the relevant site, mustering point, and nature of the emergency. Input any custom messages and commence the evacuation process.
Step 3
Conduct Zone Sweeps
Safety Officers proceed to their assigned zones, updating the status within the mobile app as each area is cleared. Options include marking zones as "In Progress," "Sweep Completed," or "Request Assistance" if issues arise.
Step 4
Complete the Evacuation
Once all zones are marked as cleared, conclude the evacuation through EmergencyOS. Generate comprehensive reports detailing the evacuation timeline, zone statuses, and any incidents for review and compliance purposes.
